For our valuable client, an international company with an office based in Prague, we are looking for a suitable candidate for the positon of Area Sales Director.
The company cooperates with more than thousand hotels all around the world. Their brand represents 2 well known softwares that help to manage wide range of “in-house” operations within the FO/Reservation/Revenue/Restaurant and other departments within the hospitality industry.
Duties and responsibilities:
• business development and implementation of sales and marketing strategy together with associated activities to attract a new customers,
• perfect general overview of the local market competition (research, analysis),
• leading of the sales team within the Czech and Slovak Republic, reporting to the head office (Germany),
• active sales and promotions: participation in exhibitions, events, presentations, direct contact with customers,
• meet sales goals in accordance with the company targets, motivation of the team,
• maintaining well relationships between brand, clients and suppliers,
• sales and marketing events for customers, complete support, training days etc.
Requirements:
• at least 3 years of experience in a hotel industry,
• experience at position of Front Office Manager or Hotel Sales Manager,
• knowledge of hotel system (Opera, Fidelio, Micros),
• knowledge of Czech and English both written and spoken,
• education: university degree will be an advantage,
• own car and driving license, ability to travel,
• pro-active and positive attitude,
• excellent communication and entrepreneurial skills,
• desire to learn and succeed.
